About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced School Administrator to provide a professional 'front of house' service and administration and welfare support for our busy and vibrant school office. This position offers the ideal candidate the opportunity to be the 'face of Donnington', ensuring that our families receive the support and advice needed at the right time.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Communicate effectively with staff, parents, pupils, and visitors
  • Remain calm and positive under pressure, be flexible, adaptable, and able to multi-task
  • Have a good working knowledge of SIMS and lead on the administration of admissions and liaise with the Local Authority Admissions team
  • Be responsible for all aspects of pupil data management and statistical returns
  • Use initiative to support the Headteacher, senior leadership team, and other school staff
  • Lead on a range of communication methods

Requirements:

  • Good standard of literacy and numerical skills
  • Self-motivated and personal drive to complete tasks to required timescales and quality standards
  • Ability to work with minimum supervision and as part of a team
