About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Care Team Member to join our team at Julia's House Dorset/Wiltshire Children's Hospices. As a Care Team Member, you will provide exceptional care and support to children with life-limiting and life-threatening conditions, working in our Hospice and in the community.

Main Responsibilities

Key responsibilities include providing a high standard of holistic care, play, and professional friendship to children and their families, as well as developing and maintaining individualized programs of activities. You will work flexibly alongside families, supporting them in the manner they choose, and take an active role in professional training and personal development.

Requirements

  • NVQ 2/3 in Care and Safeguarding Awareness Level 1
  • Experience of working with children and young people with complex healthcare needs
  • Ability to work flexibly, including evenings, weekends, and occasional overnights
