We are seeking an enthusiastic and skilled Interventional Radiographer to join our dynamic team. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone looking to expand their expertise in a supportive environment. As an Interventional Radiographer, you will perform both Interventional Radiology (IR) and general radiography duties, preparing rooms and equipment, managing complex imaging technology, and ensuring patient safety during intricate procedures.

About the Role

This exciting opportunity offers the chance to work in a fast-paced environment, utilizing state-of-the-art imaging technology in a modern hospital setting. You will be instrumental in aiding diagnosis and treatment during image-guided procedures, facilitating high-quality imaging for fast diagnosis during cardiac and vascular emergencies and procedures that aid patient treatment in acute and chronic illness.

Main Responsibilities

To undertake IR (Radiology and Cardiology) and general radiography duties, including participation in extended hours and on-call services to meet service needs. For more information, please refer to the attached Job Description.

Requirements

  • A degree or equivalent in diagnostic radiography
  • Post-qualification radiographic experience
  • The ability to work unsupervised
  • Working with and supervising student radiographers/assistant practitioners
