About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Electrical Maintenance Technician to join our team at Pertemps Scotland. As an Electrical Fitter Specialist, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our plant by performing routine maintenance tasks and repairs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Carry out planned and reactive maintenance schedules to ensure the plant operates efficiently and safely.
  • Repair and maintain forging presses, furnaces, and machine tools, ensuring they are in good working condition.
  • Conduct electrical installations and PAT testing to ensure compliance with industry standards.
  • Work collaboratively with the maintenance team to achieve plant maintenance objectives.
Requirements
  • Proven experience in electrical maintenance, including fault finding and technical drawing interpretation.
  • Ability to work at heights and in enclosed spaces, with a strong focus on safety.
  • Basic IT skills and excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Prior experience in electrical maintenance, covering medium voltage distribution systems, equipment breakdowns, and troubleshooting.
Education and Qualifications
  • Time-served electrical trade qualification with relevant trade papers.
