Cranleigh Scientific Ltd is seeking a highly skilled Electrochemistry Expert to join their research team in developing innovative energy storage solutions. This exciting opportunity will allow the successful candidate to utilize their expertise in electrochemical cell design, component interactions, and testing methodologies to drive advancements in energy storage technologies.

The role of Electrochemistry Expert requires collaboration with Project Leads to design, plan, and execute R&D projects targeting performance and scalability improvements in energy storage materials. The ideal candidate will have a PhD in Electrochemistry, Material Science, or a related field, as well as 1-2 years of industrial experience in R&D or a related capacity.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Investigate and develop advanced solutions to enhance the performance of energy storage cells, pushing the boundaries of current technologies.
  • Lead innovation efforts to adapt and improve current technologies for application in large-scale commercial products.
  • Support the growth of electrolyte and materials research, fostering cross-functional collaboration within the company.

Estimated salary: £60,000 - £80,000 per annum. Benefits include health insurance, pension scheme, and professional development opportunities.
