About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated PSHCE and SRE Specialist Teacher to join our team at Heath Farm College. As a key member of our staff, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality teaching and learning to our KS4 students, ensuring that it is engaging, relevant, and meets statutory requirements.

The successful candidate will have a strong background in teaching humanities and a passion for promoting the wellbeing of our students. You will be expected to model our college values of 'Love, Commitment, and Opportunity' consistently and contribute to the implementation of our policies.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver effective teaching and learning to KS4 students, including leading on PSHCE and SRE
  • Plan and deliver schemes of work that meet statutory requirements and college policies
  • Assess, record, and report student progress, maintaining accurate and relevant records
  • Support the development of Student Learner Profiles and ensure that each student has a relevant, appropriate, and up-to-date profile
Requirements
  • QTS qualification
  • Strong background in teaching humanities
  • Passion for promoting student wellbeing
