About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Lead Teacher for PSHCE and SRE to join our team at Heath Farm College.

The successful candidate will be responsible for modeling the college values of 'Love, Commitment and Opportunity' consistently on a daily basis and delivering highly effective teaching and learning to post-16 students in their sessions.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in teaching and a passion for PSHCE and SRE, with the ability to plan and deliver schemes of work that meet statutory requirements and college policies.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver high-quality teaching and learning to post-16 students in PSHCE and SRE sessions
  • Model the college values and protocols on a daily basis
  • Plan and deliver schemes of work that meet statutory requirements and college policies
  • Assess, record, and report student progress and achievements
  • Maintain accurate and relevant records of student progress and achievements

Requirements

  • QTS qualification
  • Experience of teaching PSHCE and SRE
  • Strong background in teaching and learning
