About the Role

We are recruiting for a Facility Engineer to work on-site with a major automotive supplier in Sunderland. As a Facility Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing solutions to control dynamic battery manufacturing systems.

The ideal candidate will have broad-based experience in manufacturing and represent the Engineering Department in all aspects of the role.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Supporting integration, commissioning, and acceptance testing activities
  • Project managing the delivery of control system projects through appointed system integrators
  • Supporting the installation, commissioning, in-service troubleshooting, and modification of systems

Requirements:

  • Degree/HND/HNC and/or 5 years of relevant experience in Electrical/Control Engineering
  • Professional experience in PLC programming, including Mitsubishi, Siemens, and BECKHOFF platforms
  • Experience in structured software programming to a recognised standard

Estimated Salary: £50,000 - £70,000 per annum
