Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Registered Nurse to fill the role of Night Nurse Unit Manager at Edgewater care home in Wallasey. As a Unit Manager, you will lead a team of nursing and care colleagues to deliver high-quality care to our residents, ensuring their medical, physical, and emotional needs are met.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement effective care plans and risk assessments to ensure the safety and well-being of our residents.
  • Supervise and manage the ordering, handling, storage, administration, recording, and disposal of medication on your unit.
  • Lead the delivery of person-centred care to meet the medical, physical, and emotional needs of our residents.
Requirements:
  • A thorough understanding of best practice in nursing care and a strong clinical skillset.
  • An excellent range of communication and leadership skills to motivate and empower your team.
  • The ability to work confidently on your own initiative and make decisions that drive quality and improvement.
  • A good standard of digital skills and experience of using technology to support care delivery.
  • A first-level nursing registration with a valid Nursing and Midwifery Council (NMC) PIN and post-registration experience in management or supervision.
