Job Summary

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Schools and Programmes Coordinator to provide administrative support to the Faculty of Education, Health and Wellbeing at the University of Wolverhampton.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide high-level administrative support to staff and students, including service courses, programmes, committees, meetings, and events.
  • Ensure excellent customer service standards are maintained, responding to queries and resolving issues in a timely and professional manner.
  • Manage and maintain accurate records, using Microsoft Office applications and student records/management systems such as SITS and e:Vision.
  • Communicate effectively with staff, students, and external customers, both verbally and in writing.
  • Plan, organize, and take minutes of meetings, ensuring that all necessary actions are recorded and followed up.
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues to achieve team goals and objectives.
  • Be flexible in working hours to meet the demands of the business.

Requirements

  • Education to A-level standard or equivalent.
  • Good office and administrative experience, with sound knowledge of Microsoft Office applications and high standards of literacy and numeracy.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work independently and under own initiative.
  • Ability to meet deadlines with a high degree of accuracy and work under pressure.
  • Knowledge of SITS and e:Vision or similar student records/management systems.
  • Experience of working in UK Higher Education is desirable.
