About the Job
We are seeking a highly skilled Clinical or Counselling Psychologist to join our Adult Community Psychology Team in South West Essex. As a senior member of this team, you will be responsible for leading on the development of psychology interventions and strategies for service delivery, supervising Trainee Psychologists and Clinical Associate Psychologists, and providing consultation and staff support to multidisciplinary staff teams.
This is an excellent opportunity for both newly qualified and experienced psychologists to develop their skills and contribute to our service. You will have the chance to work with a diverse range of clients, including those who present risks to themselves and/or others and who have histories of trauma and abuse.
Job Summary
- Lead on the development of psychology interventions and strategies for service delivery
- Supervise Trainee Psychologists and Clinical Associate Psychologists
- Provide consultation and staff support to multidisciplinary staff teams
Person Specification
Essential:
- Professional post-graduate qualification in Clinical or Counselling Psychology (BPS accredited)
- HCPC Registered
Desirable:
- Pre-qualification training and qualifications in research methodology
- Doctoral level knowledge of research methodology, research design and complex, multivariate data analysis
