Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Project Controls Specialist to join our team at Turner & Townsend Group. As a key member of our Project Controls Team, you will play a critical role in supporting projects across various sectors, including energy, renewables, defence, rail, and utilities.

As a Project Controls Specialist, you will be responsible for delivering best practice Controls, Planning, Analytics, and Reporting, Risk, Change, Resource, and Performance Management Solutions. You will work closely with a wide range of clients to ensure the successful accomplishment of project objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Progress Data Management: Collate progress data from multiple teams to update project/programme schedule in Primavera P6.
  2. Cost Data Management: Collate cost data from multiple teams to support budget requests and update cost report.
  3. Reporting and Analysis: Prepare monthly reports measuring progress against baseline.
  4. Process Governance: Support the Project Controls Manager on governance and assurance of Project Controls processes.

Requirements:

  1. Qualifications: Typically, a qualified graduate in a relevant discipline with some experience in a project control environment. PCEs should be proactive, self-starters with well-developed communication and analytical skills.
  2. Experience: Experience of working in a project or programme management environment, with responsibility for delivery or controls of individual projects, programmes, or portfolios.
  3. Technical Skills: Experience using controls/general software applications such as Primavera (P6), Power BI, Microsoft Office Applications.
  4. Personal Skills: Reliable with the ability to work autonomously and as part of a team. Strong time management skills, quick thinking, and ability to meet project deadlines as necessary.
  5. Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills required.
  6. Project Controls Knowledge: Demonstrated understanding of Project Controls concepts.
