Key Responsibilities

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • Developing and executing test plans and strategies for our smart metering products
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to identify and prioritize testing requirements
  • Providing expert-level knowledge of UK SMART Metering domain experience, including DUIS and GBCS
  • Creating and maintaining comprehensive test artefacts, including test approaches, test plans, test specifications, and test completion reports
  • Maintaining and improving existing test scripts and automated testing frameworks
  • Working closely with our development team to ensure seamless integration of new features and functionalities
  • Identifying and reporting defects, and collaborating with the development team to resolve them
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A minimum of [insert years] years of experience in software testing, with a strong focus on smart metering technologies
  • Excellent knowledge of Java and Python programming languages
  • Experience with Jira test management tool
  • Strong understanding of SEC (SMART energy code) and its application in smart metering
