About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and customer-focused Tesco Travel Money Advisor to join our team at Travelex. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and support to our retail customers with their Foreign Exchange options.

You will be the face of Travelex, providing expert advice and guidance on our products and services, and ensuring that our customers have a seamless and enjoyable experience.

Key Responsibilities
  • Nurturing and forming relationships with customers to gain a better understanding of their travel and currency requirements.
  • Establishing yourself as a travel money ambassador and their trusted advisor, providing support and advice on great Travelex products and services.
  • Engaging with customers to process all foreign exchange transactions accurately and efficiently.
  • Delivering on key performance goals both procedural, operational and customer focused.
  • Utilising your keen eye for detail to process daily online FX request and deliveries.
  • Implementing best practice legal and regulatory standards and adhering to Travelex compliance procedures.

What We Are Looking For

We are looking for a skilled and customer-focused individual who is passionate about providing exceptional service and support to our customers.

You will need to have a firm grasp of numbers as you will be handling large amounts of cash and covering vast amounts of currency regularly daily.

You will also need to be IT proficient, with a basic understanding of computers and in-house till systems and ordering systems.

And, you will need to be a great communicator, with the ability to build relationships and provide expert advice and guidance to our customers.

Finally, you will need to have a desire to succeed, with the drive and vision to want to make a difference, to enjoy what you do, care about the impact you have and the way you make people feel.

Interview Process

Our interview process typically consists of four stages:

  • Initial screening call with our team of Talent Acquisition Partners or Bureau Managers.
  • Online interview with one of our Talent Acquisition Partners, where we will give you more insight into Travelex and the role, and find out a bit more about you.
  • Bureau visit, where you will meet with the Bureau Manager face-to-face and have the opportunity to see what the working environment looks like.
  • Final interview, where we will discuss the role in more detail and answer any remaining questions you may have.
