Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Clinical Psychologist to join our Acquired Brain Injury Rehabilitation Team in Dorset. As a member of our multidisciplinary community stroke and neuro service, you will work closely with our adult Neuropsychology service in Dorset Healthcare.

The successful candidate will work predominantly with stroke patients in North and West Dorset, providing expert psychological support and interventions. You will be supervised by the principal clinical psychologist at Dorset County Hospital and will work collaboratively with our multidisciplinary team to deliver high-quality patient care.

This is a maternity cover post, and the successful candidate will be required to work closely with our team to ensure seamless delivery of services. Employment in this post requires an Enhanced DBS check.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide expert psychological support and interventions to stroke patients in North and West Dorset
  • Work closely with our adult Neuropsychology service in Dorset Healthcare
  • Collaborate with our multidisciplinary team to deliver high-quality patient care
  • Supervised by the principal clinical psychologist at Dorset County Hospital
