About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Clinical Psychologist to join our Acquired Brain Injury Rehabilitation Team in Dorset as a maternity cover. As a member of our multidisciplinary community stroke and neuro service, you will work closely with the adult Neuropsychology service in Dorset Healthcare.

This role will involve working predominantly with stroke patients in North and West Dorset. You will be supervised by the principal clinical psychologist at Dorset County Hospital and will be part of the Stroke and Neuro Rehabilitation Ward at Yeatman Hospital.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide clinical psychology services to patients with acquired brain injuries
  • Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams to achieve optimal patient outcomes
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of effective treatment plans

Requirements

  • Enhanced DBS check
  • Registration with the Health and Care Professions Council
  • Postgraduate qualification in Clinical Psychology
