Restaurant Assistant Manager Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Restaurant Assistant Manager to join our team at GPS Hospitality. As a key member of our restaurant leadership team, you will play a critical role in driving sales growth, improving customer satisfaction, and developing a high-performing team.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead and develop a team of restaurant staff to deliver exceptional customer service and achieve sales targets.
  • Implement and maintain high standards of restaurant operations, including food safety, cleanliness, and inventory management.
  • Monitor and analyze sales data to identify opportunities for growth and implement strategies to improve sales performance.
  • Collaborate with the Restaurant General Manager to develop and implement business plans, goals, and objectives.
  • Provide coaching and feedback to team members to improve performance and achieve goals.
  • Ensure compliance with all company policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
Requirements:
  • 1-3 years of supervisory experience in a restaurant or retail setting.
  • Excellent customer service skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and develop a team.
  • Ability to analyze sales data and implement strategies to improve sales performance.
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's or bachelor's degree preferred.
