We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Site Manager to lead our landscaping and groundworks operations on a residential development in Wandsworth.

The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring that all site activities are carried out safely, efficiently, and to the highest standards of quality.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and supervise day-to-day site activities, including landscaping, groundworks, and related tasks.
  • Coordinate with project managers, subcontractors, and suppliers to ensure timely delivery of materials and completion of work.
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, conducting regular site inspections and risk assessments.
  • Monitor project progress, addressing any issues or delays, and maintaining detailed records.
  • Liaise with the client and main contractor to ensure project requirements are met.
  • Manage site staff, including hiring, training, and performance evaluations.
  • Ensure work is completed to the required quality standards, within budget and on schedule.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a Site Manager in landscaping, groundworks, or a related field.
  • Strong knowledge of health and safety regulations and best practices in construction.
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
  • SMSTS (Site Management Safety Training Scheme) certification is preferred.
  • CSCS (Construction Skills Certification Scheme) card is required.
