Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Speech and Language Therapist to join our team at Salisbury NHS Foundation Trust. As a Specialist Speech and Language Therapist, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care to adult patients with communication and swallowing disorders.

Main Responsibilities

As a key member of our SLT team, you will be responsible for:

  • Assessing and treating adult patients with acquired communication and swallowing disorders
  • Working collaboratively with other healthcare professionals to develop and implement effective treatment plans
  • Providing training and education to other healthcare staff on communication and swallowing disorders
  • Contributing to the development of the SLT team and service
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A degree in Speech and Language Therapy
  • Postgraduate qualification in adult dysphagia
  • Registration with the Health and Care Professions Council
  • High standard of spoken and written English language
