Mechanical Maintenance Engineer Role

Our client, a leading food manufacturer, is seeking a skilled Mechanical Maintenance Engineer to join their team in Andover. This is an exciting opportunity for a mechanical engineer with a passion for quality and a keen eye for detail to contribute to the company's success.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform planned and reactive maintenance on all machinery, including identifying modifications and upgrades.
  • Record all relevant data, including any relevant refurbishment or machine overhauls that are required.
  • Support the operations teams by developing training materials.
  • Continually improve equipment maintenance strategies.
  • Deliver performance and improvement of Mechanical Maintenance Engineer.
Requirements:
  • Apprentice-trained mechanical engineer, with a NVQ3 in mechanical engineering or equivalent.
  • Availability to work a 3-shift rotation pattern.
  • Minimum of 5 years' experience in manufacturing engineering, preferably in the FMCG sector.
  • Excellent knowledge of manufacturing engineering equipment, with experience working in production lines, warehouses and distribution centres.
  • Strong MS Office skills and experience with CMMS systems.
