About the Role

We are seeking a highly experienced and skilled Clinical Team Lead to join our Theatre Services team at South Warwickshire NHS Foundation Trust. As a Senior Anaesthetic Practitioner, you will play a key role in the management of our Operating Theatres, providing leadership and guidance to junior staff members.

Your primary responsibility will be to ensure that high-quality patient care is delivered in a safe and efficient manner. You will work closely with other healthcare professionals to develop and implement clinical policies and procedures, as well as participate in departmental rotations and on-call/standby rotas.

The successful candidate will have at least 4 years' experience as an Anaesthetic Practitioner in multiple specialities, with evidence of achievements and innovation in clinical practice. They will also possess strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to manage a team and prioritize tasks effectively.

In terms of salary, we are offering a competitive package of £55,000 - £65,000 per annum, depending on experience. This includes a range of benefits, including health and wellbeing services, flexible working options, and a comprehensive training programme.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and coordinate the activities of theatre staff, ensuring that patients receive high-quality care
  • Develop and implement clinical policies and procedures to improve patient outcomes
  • Participate in departmental rotations and on-call/standby rotas as required
  • Maintain accurate records and reports, as well as adhere to relevant policies and procedures

Requirements:

  • NMC/HCPC Registration
  • Recognised NMC/ HCPC Teaching and Assessing Qualification
  • Evidence of CPD
  • Leadership & Management course (desirable)
