Academics Ltd is seeking an experienced Special Educational Needs Coordinator (SENCO) to join our vibrant and inclusive community. As a successful SENCO, you will be responsible for leading our team of Teaching Assistants and providing exceptional pastoral care across the school.
About the Role
We are looking for a highly skilled and dedicated individual with a proven track record of working with students with special educational needs. The ideal candidate will have Excellent communications, leadership, and organisational skills, as well as Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and a National Award for SEN Coordination or willingness to work towards it.
Key Responsibilities
• Lead a team of Teaching Assistants to provide high-quality support to students with special educational needs
• Develop and implement strategies to promote academic excellence and inclusion for all students
• Collaborate with teachers and other professionals to ensure seamless support for students
• Maintain accurate records and reports on student progress and SEN provision
Salary and Benefits
The salary for this role is approximately £40,000 - £60,000 per annum, based on experience and qualifications. In addition to a competitive salary, we offer a range of benefits including paid MPS / UPS Outer London allowance and opportunities for professional development.
