About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Operational Excellence Manager to join our team at Bakkavor Spalding. As a key member of our Operational Excellence team, you will play a critical role in driving performance improvement projects that align with our manufacturing strategy and support the group's objectives.

As a Senior Operational Excellence Manager, you will be responsible for designing and deploying methodologies and processes to support the delivery of performance improvement projects. You will also provide financial governance of project delivery costs and ensure projects are delivered on time and to budget.

About You

We are looking for a candidate with a proven track record in an operational role, preferably in the food manufacturing industry. You should have experience of lean manufacturing, minimum foundation level in lean or equivalent, and Six Sigma (ideally yellow belt). You should also have experience of financial analysis, be an influential communicator, and be passionate about identifying and driving continuous improvement.

You will be skilled at presentation, relationship building, influencing, and facilitation, and have experience leading a Continuous Improvement strategy. You should also have in-depth knowledge of multiple Lean / CI / OPEX tools and methodologies.
