We are seeking an Educational Support Worker to join our team at We Manage Jobs (WMJobs). As a Special Education Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting the progress and development of pupils with special educational needs and disabilities (SEND).

The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering high-quality interventions, including Direct Instruction English (DIE) and Numeracy (DIN) programmes. They will also undertake and implement standardised tests, such as NGRT, under the direction of the SENDCo.

The key responsibilities of this role include:

  • Supporting pupils with SEND through targeted interventions
  • Implementing standardised tests and assessments
  • Marking and assessing pupil work
  • Communicating effectively with parents and external agencies
  • Collecting and collating lesson evidence

Our team is committed to making a meaningful impact in our community. The salary for this role is £25,992 per annum (FTE). We require the successful candidate to have experience supporting pupils with SEND in an educational setting.
