Job Title: Senior Quantity Surveyor

Woodford Group is seeking a highly skilled Senior Quantity Surveyor to join our team. As a key member of our commercial team, you will be responsible for the commercial management of both mechanical and electrical projects.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure the commercial aspects of the business are protected and well managed, enhancing the overall service received by the client and value to Woodford.
  • Manage projects, costings, cash flow, and suppliers and sub-contractors to maintain a competitive edge.
  • Work closely with Buyers to maintain high standards of installation and quality of materials.
  • Oversee and manage financial reports, including the production of monthly Trading Reviews (CVR Reports) for presentation to the Company Directors.
  • Produce monthly applications/valuations, including variation breakdowns and negotiation of final accounts.
  • Liaise with accounts functions, reviewing supplier and sub-contract accounts, including variation accounts.
  • Oversee supplier orders and assist Buyers with negotiation of large ticket items.
  • Prepare and issue subcontractor orders.
  • Review all client contracts, highlighting risks and variances to our Tender submission for Director review and signoff.
