We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Quantity Surveyor to join our project team at Kier Group. Key Responsibilities
  • Appoint Contractors and Subcontractors: You will be responsible for appointing and managing contractors and subcontractors, ensuring that they are appointed within the delegated authorities and that their work is carried out to the required standards.
  • Place Orders for Materials and Plant: You will be responsible for placing orders for materials and plant, ensuring that they are procured within the delegated authorities and that they are delivered to the required standards.
  • Agree Progress and Value of Work: You will be responsible for agreeing the progress and value of work with customers and suppliers, ensuring that we deliver high-quality services to our clients while maintaining a strong commercial focus.
  • Lead, Manage and Motivate Commercial Staff: You will be responsible for leading, managing and motivating the commercial staff, ensuring that they are equipped to deliver high-quality services to our clients.
  • Establish Commercial Contribution: You will be responsible for establishing the full commercial contribution to the organisation, ensuring that we deliver high-quality services to our clients while maintaining a strong commercial focus.
