Plastic Surgeon Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Locum Consultant Plastic Surgeon to join our team at the Queen Victoria Hospital NHS Foundation Trust. As a specialist in breast reconstruction and microsurgery, you will be responsible for providing high-quality care to our patients and contributing to the furtherance of our Plastics Surgery Business Unit.
Key Responsibilities:
- Participate in the service, assisting colleagues with other key specialties including trauma, perineal reconstruction, and skin.
- Contribute to the general furtherance of our Plastics Surgery Business Unit, which has an outstanding reputation for highly specialised services.
- Provide backfill at UHSX to support its lower limb trauma service.
- Demonstrate skills that would complement and expand the existing skill mix in breast reconstruction.
Requirements:
- Fellowship of the Royal College of Surgeons or equivalent.
- Completed a period of higher professional training, including a microsurgery fellowship.
- Certificate of Completion of Training (CCT) or equivalent, or within six months of CCT at the time of application.
