Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Physiotherapist to join our team in the Burns/Plastics/Head and Neck department at Queen Victoria Hospital. As a Specialist Physiotherapist, you will play a vital role in the rehabilitation and recovery of patients with burns, plastics, and head and neck injuries.

Main Responsibilities
  • Assess and treat patients with burns, plastics, and head and neck injuries, maximizing their recovery and function.
  • Participate in the burns/plastics therapy team training and audit programme.
  • Deliver high-quality patient-centered rehabilitation, ensuring excellent clinical outcomes.
  • Supervise and educate junior physiotherapists and students, promoting their professional development.
  • Contribute to evidence-based audit and research projects, enhancing clinical practice.

Person Specification
  • Diploma/Degree in Occupational Therapy or Physiotherapy.
  • HCPC Registration.
  • Significant experience as a basic grade physiotherapist with a broad range of experiences within ward environments, including general trauma and CCU.
  • Involvement in audit, research, and understanding of quality issues.
