We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Domestic Supervisor to join our team at NHS Lanarkshire. Key Responsibilities

  • Manage and coordinate the domestic services function to ensure effective cleaning methods and control of infection.
  • Lead and motivate a team of domestic staff to achieve high standards of cleanliness and customer service.
  • Develop and implement effective cleaning schedules and rotas to ensure efficient use of resources.
  • Monitor and report on cleaning standards, identifying areas for improvement and implementing corrective actions.
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless delivery of domestic services.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in a similar role, with a strong background in cleaning operations and staff management.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to lead and motivate a team.
  • Strong organizational and problem-solving skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects.
  • Ability to work flexibly, including evenings and weekends, to meet the needs of the service.
  • SVQ in cleaning science or equivalent qualification.
