Primary SEN Specialist Supporter

Foster the growth and development of a student with SEN/D as a Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) at Yew Tree Primary Academy.
About the Job:Plan and deliver individualized learning activities to promote independence and confidence in a student with SEN/D.
- Provide targeted 1:1 support adapting strategies to meet unique needs.
- Collaborate with the SENCo to implement and evaluate EHCP goals.
- Develop strong relationships with children, parents, teachers, and external professionals.
- Experience supporting students with SEN/D, particularly non-verbal communication needs.
- Knowledge of SEN strategies and tools such as sensory interventions and speech language programs.
- Strong interpersonal skills for working with children, parents, teachers, and external professionals.
- Current DBS on the Update Service or willingness to obtain one.
- Competitive weekly pay via PAYE.
- Potential for permanent positions within The Wade Deacon Trust.
