Midwife Job Description

About the Role:

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Midwife to join our team at Nottingham University Hospitals NHS Trust. As a Midwife, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care and support to expectant mothers and their families throughout pregnancy, childbirth, and the postnatal period.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assess the needs of women, partners, families, and carers
  • Plan, deliver, and evaluate standards of evidence-based midwifery care
  • Provide full antenatal care, including parenting classes, clinical examinations, and screening
  • Identify high-risk pregnancies

Requirements:

  • NMC (Midwifery Council) registration
  • 1 year of experience in midwifery or a related field
