Learning Mentor

**Job Description:**
We are seeking a Learning Mentor to join our team at Prospero Teaching. As a Learning Mentor, you will work one-to-one with students in need of additional support, helping them to overcome challenges and achieve their full potential.
**Key Responsibilities:
- Create, plan and deliver tailored lessons to bridge gaps in pupils' education and boost engagement and attainment levels.
- Prioritise support for secondary school age pupils working up to foundation level, many of whom have been out of education for some time and may have low confidence levels.
**Working Arrangements:
- Location: Within the community or pupils' home in Cambridge
- Position: 1:1 Tutor
- Type of work: Contract
- Start date: ASAP
- Duration: Until the pupil can reintegrate into a new school placement
- Contract type: Temporary
- Full-time/part-time: Part time (15 hours per week, per student)
- Minimum rate of pay: £25 per hour
**Requirements:
- Possess UK classroom teaching experience
- Be creative, patient and willing to think outside of the box
- Have experience working with SEND or disengaged pupils
**Salary and Benefits:
We offer a competitive hourly rate of £25, plus regular progress monitoring and support provided by Prospero Teaching.
