Teaching Assistant Opportunity

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Teaching Assistant to join our vibrant and inclusive educational community in High Wycombe. As a key member of our team, you will play a crucial role in supporting teachers to deliver high-quality education and provide individualised assistance to students, helping them to achieve their full potential.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist teachers in planning and delivering engaging lessons that cater to diverse learning needs.
  • Provide one-on-one or small group support to students who require additional help, promoting a positive and inclusive learning environment.
  • Support the implementation of individualised education plans (IEPs) for students with special educational needs, ensuring their unique requirements are met.
  • Assist with classroom management and organisation, maintaining a safe and productive learning space.
  • Participate in school activities and events, fostering a sense of community and promoting social skills.
  • Monitor and report on student progress to teachers and parents, providing valuable insights and recommendations for improvement.
Requirements:
  • Previous experience working with children in an educational setting is highly desirable.
  • A relevant qualification in education or childcare is preferred, but not essential.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with students, teachers, and parents.
  • Patience, empathy, and a genuine passion for working with children, promoting their emotional and academic growth.
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team, contributing to a positive and supportive learning environment.
  • Basic understanding of child development and educational practices, with a willingness to learn and adapt.
