About the RoleThe successful candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing HR strategies that align with the overall business strategy of the company. This includes identifying HR priorities, setting objectives, and planning and executing HR initiatives that support the company's goals and enhance employee engagement and productivity.
The ideal candidate will have excellent oral, written, and interpersonal communication skills, high self-motivation and flexibility, and the ability to work independently and under limited daily supervision. They will also have proven experience in HR management and a thorough understanding of HR policies and procedures.
Responsibilities- HR Strategy Development
Develop and implement HR strategies that align with the overall business strategy of the company.
Comprehensive HR ServicesProvide comprehensive HR services to all employees, ensuring effective communication and strong working relationships throughout the organization.
Employee Engagement and RetentionLead efforts to improve employee engagement and retention, including facilitating monthly employee meetings and maintaining an active Fairness Committee.
Recruitment and SelectionOversee the full cycle of the recruitment process, including job postings, screening, interviewing, and recommending prospective new hires.
Performance ManagementAdminister the company's performance appraisal system, setting performance standards, conducting performance evaluations, providing feedback and coaching, and implementing performance improvement plans as needed.
Compensation and BenefitsAdminister the company's compensation and benefits programs, including health insurance, retirement plans, and other employee benefits.
Training and DevelopmentIdentify training needs and develop and implement training programs to enhance employee skills and performance.
Requirements- A Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
- A minimum of 7 years of experience in a Human Resources role, preferably in the manufacturing or automotive industry.
- Excellent oral, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
- High self-motivation and flexibility.
- Ability to work independently and under limited daily supervision.
- Familiarity with PeopleSoft HRIS is an asset.
- Working knowledge of QS-9000 / TS16949 and ISO14001 procedures.
