Job Summary:

The successful candidate will be responsible for leading and managing the day-to-day activities of the Radiography department, ensuring the delivery of high-quality patient care and services.

Main Responsibilities:
  • To oversee the clinical duties of radiographers, ensuring compliance with departmental protocols and guidelines.
  • To take responsibility for the induction and training of new radiographic staff, ensuring they reach the expected competency level.
  • To monitor staff performance, maintaining a high standard of quality and safety.
  • To be familiar with departmental administration systems, carrying out clerical duties related to radiographic work.
  • To promote good working relationships and teamwork with the multi-disciplinary team within Radiology.

  • Specialist knowledge and experience of Paediatric Imaging
Requirements:
  • DCR or BSc in Radiography

Working Arrangements:

This is a fixed-term position for 36 months, working full-time.

The salary for this role is £54,320 to £60,981 per annum, inclusive.
