Job Summary

Siamo Recruitment, a division of Siamo Group, is seeking an exceptional Senior Residential Support Worker to join our team in a Children's Residential Care setting. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care and support to young people with challenging behaviors.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement individualized care plans to promote the welfare and well-being of young people.
  • Lead and participate in group activities, holidays, and outings to foster a sense of community and social skills.
  • Collaborate with colleagues, external agencies, and families to ensure the best possible outcomes for young people.
  • Conduct observations and assessments to inform care planning and report any concerns or issues.
  • Support and supervise care workers to ensure consistent and high-quality care.
  • Participate in the development of new techniques and approaches to childcare within the provision.
Requirements
  • Minimum of Level 3 Diploma in Residential Childcare or equivalent.
  • Experience working with young people in a residential setting, particularly those with learning disabilities or SEBD.
  • Understanding of safeguarding and wellbeing principles, with a commitment to promoting the welfare of children and young people.
  • Valid UK driving license and access to a vehicle.
