Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement individualized care plans to promote the welfare and well-being of young people.
- Lead and participate in group activities, holidays, and outings to foster a sense of community and social skills.
- Collaborate with colleagues, external agencies, and families to ensure the best possible outcomes for young people.
- Conduct observations and assessments to inform care planning and report any concerns or issues.
- Support and supervise care workers to ensure consistent and high-quality care.
- Participate in the development of new techniques and approaches to childcare within the provision.
- Minimum of Level 3 Diploma in Residential Childcare or equivalent.
- Experience working with young people in a residential setting, particularly those with learning disabilities or SEBD.
- Understanding of safeguarding and wellbeing principles, with a commitment to promoting the welfare of children and young people.
- Valid UK driving license and access to a vehicle.
