The Befriender 'In Home' Volunteer plays a vital role in providing companionship to individuals we support, visiting them in their homes and engaging in activities they enjoy. This may include chatting over a cup of tea, reading books, or playing board games.
Key Skills:
- To be kind, empathetic, and friendly
- To have a good sense of humour and enjoy chatting
- To be punctual and reliable
- To maintain confidentiality and adhere to data protection procedures
