Job Title: Head of DevelopmentAbout the Role

The Head of Development will be responsible for leading the development team to create innovative and high-quality solutions for our clients. This is a key leadership role that requires a strong technical background, excellent communication skills, and the ability to motivate and direct a team of software engineers, testers, and architects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement a strategy for the development team to deliver high-quality solutions that meet the needs of our clients.
  • Lead and manage a team of software engineers, testers, and architects to ensure that projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.
  • Collaborate with other departments, such as sales and marketing, to ensure that the development team is aligned with the overall business strategy.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including clients, vendors, and partners.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest technologies and trends in software development and ensure that the development team is equipped to deliver innovative solutions.
  • Manage the development team's budget and resources to ensure that projects are delivered efficiently and effectively.
  • Ensure that the development team is following best practices and industry standards for software development.
  • Develop and implement a training plan to ensure that the development team has the necessary skills and knowledge to deliver high-quality solutions.
  • Collaborate with the quality assurance team to ensure that the development team is delivering high-quality solutions that meet the required standards.
Requirements
  • Proven experience in leading and managing a development team.
  • Strong technical background in software development, including experience with Agile methodologies.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills.
  • Ability to motivate and direct a team of software engineers, testers, and architects.
  • Experience with project management tools and methodologies.
  • Ability to stay up-to-date with the latest technologies and trends in software development.
  • Experience with budget management and resource allocation.
  • Ability to develop and implement a training plan to ensure that the development team has the necessary skills and knowledge to deliver high-quality solutions.
