Clinical Research Nurse Lead

We are seeking an experienced and skilled Clinical Research Nurse to lead our team of research nurses in our rapidly growing research programme. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for coordinating and leading a multi-professional team working on an NIHR research portfolio within the Trust, across multiple specialties.
Main Responsibilities- Lead, guide, and assist the research delivery team to ensure studies are conducted safely, efficiently, and to the required standards and targets.
- Line manage junior research nurses, including recruitment and appraisals.
- Promote and embed a research culture within the Trust, acting as a resource to patients and multi-professional colleagues.
- Build effective working relations with other local staff and departments.

Person Specification- Demonstrable experience of working in clinical research.
- Assessing patients' capacity in respect to informed consent for research.
- Current registration with the NMC as a registered nurse.
- Trained in Good Clinical Practice with excellent knowledge of Research Governance.
- Knowledge of NHS research priorities and NIHR initiatives, including performance management, KPIs, and R&I service change.
