Job Overview:

We are seeking a highly skilled Clinical Review Coordinator to join our team at Medway NHS Foundation Trust. As a key member of our Medical Examiner Office, you will play a critical role in ensuring accurate and consistent completion of medical certificates of cause of death.

The successful candidate will be responsible for reviewing medical records, identifying clinical and circumstantial information, and sourcing additional details as required. You will also work closely with bereaved relatives, healthcare professionals, and coroner and registration services to ensure that all necessary documentation is completed accurately and efficiently.

We offer a competitive salary of £39,000 - £47,000 per annum, depending on experience, plus a range of benefits including flexible working opportunities and career development prospects.

To succeed in this role, you will need a Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience, completed e-learning for Health MEO training, and a commitment to Royal College of Pathologists face-to-face MEO training within 6 months of starting in post. You will also have extensive knowledge of clinical terminology, the Coroners and Justice Act 2009, and the special requirements of various faith groups.
