Our client, a global leader in fluid and gas system solutions, is seeking a Production Planner to join their growing team. With a strong focus on high-quality products and services, they support various industries, including oil and gas, petrochemical, chemical processing, and powder generation.
Key Responsibilities- Execute jobs at specific times across manufacturing sites while tracking job performance and customer requirements.
- Determine optimal manufacturing timelines to enhance efficiency and prevent stockouts, balancing inputs and outputs effectively.
- Develop and implement daily and weekly production schedules, adjusting as necessary to align with operational goals.
- Periodically compare current and anticipated orders with available inventory, using judgment to anticipate demand and acquire additional supplies as needed.
- Produce weekly management reports outlining key performance indicators (KPIs) to assess production performance.
- A minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in production planning or a similar role.
- Highly literate in MRP (Material Requirements Planning) systems.
- Strong inventory management skills, with the ability to analyze requirements versus inventory positions.
- Holiday entitlement of 25 days per annum, excluding bank holidays (with 3 days reserved for Christmas and New Year shutdown).
- Employer-sponsored private healthcare scheme.
- Company pension contributions at 5% of base salary.
- Income protection at 75% of base salary in case of long-term sickness.
