Job Title: Systems Accountant

We are seeking a highly skilled Systems Accountant to join our team at Kettering General Hospital NHS Foundation Trust. As a key member of our finance function, you will be responsible for providing IT and finance support to ensure the smooth operation of our finance and procurement systems.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage and maintain e-Financials, a fully integrated suite of financial applications, to ensure they are up-to-date and fit for purpose.
  • Develop and implement system changes throughout the organization, including the capital program and finance-related projects.
  • Provide IT and finance support to the finance function, ensuring that financial information is recorded accurately and timely.
  • Ensure the integrity of the Trust's financial data systems and maintain them in accordance with national and professional requirements and standards.
  • Collaborate with the IT department to maintain and develop computer systems within the Finance Department.

This is a customer-facing role in a service department, supporting staff from within the finance department and stakeholders across the whole organization. The successful applicant will have excellent communication and analytical skills, with the ability to present complex information in an understandable language.
