Job Overview

This exciting opportunity is part of a broader effort to redesign and develop physiotherapy services across all of our mental health inpatient wards in Kent and Medway.

The successful candidate will join a dynamic team of healthcare professionals, working collaboratively to deliver exceptional patient care and drive innovation in physiotherapy practice.

Key Responsibilities
  • To assess and treat Younger & Older adult in-patients at our Canterbury Inpatient sites, applying expert knowledge and skills to achieve optimal patient outcomes.
  • To contribute to the development of new physiotherapy services, working closely with multidisciplinary teams to ensure seamless service delivery.
Essential Skills and Qualifications
  • A broad base of clinical knowledge, with experience in mental health (advantageous but not essential).
  • Excellent assessment and communication skills, with a proven ability to work effectively within a team environment.
Salary and Benefits
  • A competitive salary range of £30,000 - £42,000 per annum, dependent on experience.
  • Access to regular team meetings, supervision, appraisal, and informal peer support, with opportunities for continuing professional development.
