Job Summary

The Reliability Maintenance Engineering Team Lead will oversee a team of engineering technicians, maintaining focus on safety through training, development, and coaching. This role requires a strong technical background, leadership skills, and ability to drive results-oriented solutions.

The successful candidate will lead, support, and mentor the team to ensure they work efficiently and safely. They will also collaborate with the wider network to harness technical expertise and build innovative solutions.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead and support the team to achieve high levels of equipment availability and adhere to internal processes and procedures.
  • Collaborate with the Site Safety department and Site Leadership to implement, record, and audit safety and statutory compliance programs.
  • Develop and maintain network standards to ensure efficient maintenance practices.
  • Organize and direct the training program for the team to ensure sufficient technical coverage.
  • Work on shift to maintain a strong connection to the team and daily work.
About You

We're looking for a motivated, customer-focused individual with significant practical engineering experience, including supervisory roles. A Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline (Industrial, Electrical, Mechanical, Civil) from an accredited university or equivalent experience is required.

You should possess excellent communication skills (written and verbal), proficiency in English and local language (CEFR Level B2 or higher), and experience working with automated equipment, including packaging machinery, sortation, and conveyor systems.

A solid understanding of health and safety regulations, as well as computer skills (MS Office, CAD), is essential. Experience working with PLC-based control systems, project management, and knowledge of CMMS programs would be advantageous.

About the Role

This role offers an estimated salary range of £60,000 - £80,000 per annum, depending on location and experience. As a key member of the Reliability Maintenance Engineering team, you'll have the opportunity to shape the future of Amazon Operations and contribute to the success of our customers.
