Job Title: Senior Sales Administrator

We are seeking an experienced and charismatic Sales Administrator to join our thriving business in Long Eaton.

Job Purpose:

The successful candidate will have previous experience of managing the customer journey from start to finish, as well as processing invoices and driving business growth.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Supporting the Manager to ensure that rental agreements, sales of new and used vehicles to dealers and customers are managed, reported, and controlled.
  • Ensuring records and data for all vehicles are complete and correct, processing orders and invoices, and preparing accurate and timely reports for senior management.
  • Checking that rental agreements/orders are in line with sales protocol.
Requirements:

We are looking for someone with:

  • Good management skills, having worked at a senior level.
  • Proven experience in sales administration or a related field.
  • Excellent organisational, communication, and multitasking skills.
  • Proficiency in CRM software and MS Office Suite.
  • A proactive, problem-solving mindset with a strong attention to detail and a customer-first attitude.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
The Finer Elements of the Role:

Key responsibilities include:

  • Handling customer inquiries, processing orders, and ensuring timely delivery of products/services.
  • Maintaining accurate records of sales activities, customer interactions, and financial transactions in the CRM system.
  • Identifying opportunities to streamline sales processes and enhance efficiency.
  • Serving as a liaison between sales, marketing, and other departments to ensure seamless operations.
  • Supervising a team of circa 4+ staff, with support from the Manager, including one-to-ones and appraisal of performance if required.
  • Raising queries directly with Management/Salesman team on all issues outside of Sales Protocol.
  • Ensuring sales commissions are recorded accurately and the monthly reporting is raised timely for payroll and agreed with the Sales team.
  • Supporting and covering in the preparation of monthly reports/KPIs and month-end reconciliations and developing new reporting to identify areas for improvement.
  • Updating the KPI log to monitor the timescale of order received from customer to order placed with suppliers.
  • Developing new procedures, improvements, and controls to improve profitability.
  • Managing and monitoring/ recording 3rd party leasing arrangements of vehicles. Ensuring any requirement to repurchase of vehicles are actioned.
  • Ensuring they are working with credit control to ensure sales packs have been pre-credit approved, and the correct customer/accounts are recorded.
