Job Title: Learning Support Practitioner

We are seeking a highly qualified Learning Support Practitioner to join our team at The Lady Eleanor Holles School. The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting pupils with a range of underlying learning difficulties and disabilities.

About the Role

The Learning Support Practitioner will work closely with teachers and other support staff to provide individualized support to pupils. This will include teaching literacy, numeracy, and study skills to high achieving pupils with a range of learning differences.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide individualized support to pupils with learning difficulties and disabilities
  • Teach literacy, numeracy, and study skills to high achieving pupils
  • Work closely with teachers and other support staff to develop and implement individualized learning plans
  • Assist pupils with daily living skills and personal care
  • Participate in staff meetings and contribute to the development of school policies and procedures
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A degree in a relevant field (e.g. education, special education)
  • Experience working with pupils with learning difficulties and disabilities
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Flexibility and adaptability in a fast-paced environment
