We are seeking a dedicated and passionate SEN teaching assistant to join our team at a primary school in Crewe. As a SEN teaching assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting children with various additional needs, promoting their learning and development, and creating a supportive and inclusive learning environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide individualized support to children with SEN, promoting their learning and development
- Assist teachers in planning and delivering lessons, ensuring that children with SEN receive the support they need
- Help children with SEN to develop their social and emotional skills, promoting positive behavior and relationships
- Collaborate with teachers and other support staff to develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) for children with SEN
- Contribute to the creation of a supportive and inclusive learning environment, promoting the well-being and happiness of all children
Requirements:
- Experience working with children with SEN, preferably in a primary school setting
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with children, teachers, and other support staff
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a flexible and adaptable approach
- Passion for education and a commitment to promoting the learning and development of children with SEN
