We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic SEN Teaching Assistant to join our team at a primary school in the Cheshire area. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing support to a Year 5 child with Autism, working closely with the class teacher and other support staff to ensure the child's needs are met.
Key Responsibilities:
* Provide one-to-one support to the child with Autism, assisting with their educational and personal needs
* Work closely with the class teacher and other support staff to develop and implement individualized learning plans
* Assist with the child's daily routine, including breaks and meals
* Communicate effectively with the child, parents, and other stakeholders to ensure the child's needs are met
Requirements:
* Experience working with children with Autism or other special educational needs
* Ability to build good working relationships with children, parents, and other stakeholders
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team
