About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Consultant in Obstetrics and Gynaecology to join our team at Walsall Healthcare NHS Trust.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide high-quality patient care and management in obstetrics and gynaecology
  • Conduct routine and emergency gynaecological procedures
  • Participate in on-call duties and provide support to junior staff
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of clinical policies and guidelines
  • Engage in research and audit activities to improve patient outcomes
Requirements
  • Full GMC registration with licence to practice
  • MRCOG or equivalent specialist qualification
  • Relevant CCT or equivalent
  • Entry onto GMC Specialist Register or eligibility for entry within 6 months
Desirable Qualifications and Experience
  • Further intercalated or undergraduate degree
  • Further Higher Degree
  • Experience of managing complex pregnancy
  • Experience of early pregnancy scanning
