### Job Title: Examiner

### Job Description

At Pearson, we are seeking a skilled Examiner to join our team. As an Examiner, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the accuracy and consistency of our examination process.

### Responsibilities

* Mark candidates' responses in accordance with the pre-defined mark scheme
* Adhere to conditions of recognition and examination procedures
* Utilize ePEN or traditional marking methods, depending on the subject
* Submit samples to your Team Leader at designated times
* Ensure milestones for marking are adhered to
* Complete all administration as specified

### Requirements

* Hold a degree or equivalent qualification
* Be a qualified teacher, with qualifications obtained in the UK or overseas
* Possess a minimum of 5 months part-time teaching experience of the relevant qualification and subject, within the last 10 years
* Have assessment experience with a recognised UK exam board, within the last 5 years
* Demonstrate the ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines
* Possess a high level of subject knowledge in order to apply the mark scheme
